This was very timely!
I will use your contract to form the basis of a contract we were just about to write for a women's shelter. Many times women going to a Transition House are afraid to leave their pets behind for fear, (often followed through) that harm may come to pets left behind. We do our best to have local citizens volunteer to 'babysit' the pets for those women and children who will not come to the shelter without their pets. Of course we can not charge nor pay, except to provide food when necessary - but other difficulties have arisen, such as vet bills and abandonment. Being all volunteers without outside careers and obligations we have a limited amount of time available, so issues like pet-sitting contracts get put on the back burner. I thank you very much for sharing this. (See - when you start giving and sharing, you never really know who or how many you help, or the benefits for strangers down the road :o) )
