How often are vet check ups needed and what is the average cost? Also a couple of her spikes are broken off. What causes this?

She should go to the vet at least 1ce a year for an annual/physical, and parasite check. Average cost depends on your vet-ive been charged everything from $8 to $50 just to walk in the door at different clinics.
