Not to sound argumentative or anything just curious. Do you have someone who is willing to hand feed your iguana in case at some point and time you can't (vacation etc.) and he only wants to be handfed? This was pointed out to me because I do hand feed a lot and the person who takes care of them if I'm gone a day or something takes good care of them but is a little scared of feeding by hand. I've had to switch and only hand feed treats or when out free roaming. We used the here's some food to put in your mouthwith this hand while I touch you with my other hand method on a really aggressive male (biter and whipper) at one time, he's now a pussycat unless breeding season. (I trained/tamed him it's a friends iguana).
