Quick question about tail rings

After seeing all the pictures posted here and visiting various websites, I realized that a lot of iguanas have dark rings around their tails. Meggy's rings are very pale. Do most iguanas have dark rings? Is she a different kind? The dark rings make the iguana more attractive.
