If you live anywhere in the US setting your ig "free" in your yard is illegal and punishable should anyone find out about it. If you decide that you no longer want the ig do the RESPONSIBLE thing and find placement for it - either with a local "animal" shelter or find an actual reptile rescue that will take the ig off your hands.
