To help get your iguana more excited about leaving his cage I would recommend getting an iguana safe plant that you can keep indoors. I put Guano in one every day when I let him out of his cage. He seems to like being in the tree so that helps in getting him out of the cage too. Just thought I'd give you a little more help.
