I'm one those who posted about taking my iguana out of the cage. Mine was not tame when I started that. My strategy prolly isnt the best, but here's what I did: First, I made sure that my room was clean and that any places for Guano to hide were covered up. Once he came out he would usually be alright, but then he saw me and ran to the other side of the room. Thats where the trick comes in. I would make him run to the corner, and follow him over there. Then I would get as close as i could and bring my hands slowly towards him from both sides. Usually he would try run up the wall, at which point I put both hands under him, and then caught him as he slipped on the wall. Maybe this doesn't work for everyone, but hopefully its a little helpful.
