: The SFCRC uses artifical vines for all arboreal enclosures (Corucia zebrata and Iguana iguana). Never a problem and always a benefit. REASONS: 1).Keeping display intact and not constantly replacing eaten portions of the set-up. 2). If an outdoor enclosure, prevention of outside pathogens or insects establishing themselves 3) precise determination of what foods are eaten and by whom. Yes, artifical is a good choice.

::I have a few large leaf plastic plants in my cage and havent had any problums with them yet. We just got a huge cage for our iggy and i was wanting to decorate it with plastic ivy vines. I seen them in the craft section of walmart and was wondering if anyone has had any problums with them?? Thanks
