Dog food has a lot of protein what makes an iguana to grow a lot.The problem is that too much protein can destroy its kidneys and liver. So big igs (raised with dog/cat food) dont mean healthy igs!!
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

ess who i saw at the petstore...Zephs old mom. she walked in and i was holding him, she did a double take but i dont think she recognized him (its been a year since she left him to die) apparently she brought him, bloody and sick to the petstore and he stayed their 5 days until Felicias (foster) parents bought and healed him. healing meant taking him to the vet and healing his physical wounds. also meant overcrowding him, stunting him, giving him kidney disease and metablic bone disease and he didnt have broken/missing toes when he came in to the petstore. they wanted to give him back to the petstore but Elie had NO Room, she had another large ig dumped on her within the week. i didnt know it was his old mom. after she left, Elie said omg do you know who that was? i didnt, and she told me ..we had been talking before that and Elie was shocked, the 3.5ft ig in my arms spent 5 days there a year ago and Elie remembered him. (btw, Elie is the owner of my local LFS =) she was also shocked at how much he deteriorated over the year and was glad we had him...i wish she(elie) had said somethng to me while his mom was there..maybe its better that she didnt as i have NO self control..she also was upset when i said they fed him dog food. oh and by the way hes 3 and a half years old..and 3 and a half feet long..how long would be be if he were very healthy his whole life? =/
