I think it's an infected abcess, and yes I do think I know more then the vet. I definetly know it's an infection because pus=infection. She said before she went the area around was starting to go black, but later she said it had shed off. I think that means the tissue is starting to die. I hope that in a few weeks when she is near her death, they take her to another vet. She bought iguanas for dummies, which I begged her to read before opening the can o crickets. The poor thing hasn't eaten normally for at least a month (as long as she's had it). I'm really at a loss here. I was getting her to do better stuff for the igs, but now that someone who she thinks knows something told her differently, I really have lost some ground. I'm really holding myself back from telling her what I think. I hope the ig dies quickly instead of suffering for years.
