I dont dechlor my turtles tank (150g, 5 painted turtles) but i do enough water changes that i dont have an ammonia/nitrite problem. do turtles have a protective eye cover like snakes? i know lizards DONT..(IE: a olive oil mite bath can cover the whole snake, but you have to be careful with igs) so maybe chlorine would irritate that(shrugs)
