on King Zephyr-Dee (Aka Zephy, Ziggi, the Zigster). Anyway, today my dad and i built a thing a ma bob with bamboo wood (shoots?) and plywood, its all covered also and can easily be taken apart (yet sturdy) for steralizing/transportation. there are also thick wood branches which hes been climbing on to get from level to level...im pretty tickled. i also put a heat thermometer on the top level (right where he basks under the lights) and a humdity gauge on the middle level (what should the humidity be at? ive never read about that i dont think) and im going to get a heat gauge for the bottom (there are 4 levels, and the bottom/2nd level would be the 'cooler' part). also on the bottom is a water bowl which he can soak in and his food is on the 2nd level. hes been eating much more and pooped yesterday. i got a UVB light, but still looking for a fixture (went to 3 different hardware stores, no bassett (sp?) fixtures, argh..i can ask my dad to check out home depot) so right now hes on top of a towel rack basking under the turtles UVB light (mmmm parents are going to mildly suprised when they find him there!). i have more to post but gotta run now =) hope to get pics soon
