i think that you should feed your iguana as much as he will eat. that is what i do with my iguana, and that way i never have to worry that he is eating too little. i woul`nd suggest feding her at night because thier digestion slows down at night. i would suggest keeping food available to her all day, with the last feeding at about 4:00 in the afternoon. if she has been to a vet and they have told you that she is healthy, i don`t really see how only feeding her in the morning would be too little. as long as the portions are not so small that she finishes them quickly. she should be given a very large portion in the morning. and then after that what i do is give my iguana food at intervals throughout the day whenever i see that all of his food is gone. i just make the portions progressively smaller as the end of the day gets nearer. that way there is less waste and less to clean up. less waste means less money spent which should help you out with the money issue you are having about feeding. really, feding an iguana more than one meal aday should not cost but a few cents more than what you are paying now. i ahve found with the increased feedings it actually costs less because i am throwing away less food. i only have one iguana so a bunch of collard greens will be way too much and will just be wasted because it will go bad before he eats it all.i hope this helps some!

: I have a two year old ig and I have fed her properly, but my dad says I need to feed her both day and night, but it would cost more money. What should I do?
