Just to add in my two cents. Neither my iguana or my beardie will eat shredded/mashed/purreed food. While our grocers were not carrying fresh greens I tried both canned and frozen, they wouldn't touch it. I tried using the food processor on fresh greens and they wouldn't eat it either. Now I tear the leaves up so they are about the right size (a little not a lot more time consuming) and they eat it really well. On the other hand our new little ig was so sick when we "took over" his care he couldn't eat anything but purreed! (He's doing a lot better now after his vet visit and getting proper feeding and housing!!)
