The top of one of Bud's spines turned red during his first shed with me, because I was fooling around with it too much, being over-vigilant. I am ashamed to say that I was so worried about this spine that wouldn't come off, that I peeled back the part that was part-way off, and of course found out that this was still firmly attached to poor Bud! That spine is still weird-curvy, although otherwise healthy.
How long has this spine been on? When I see that Bud's going to shed, I mist him a lot while he's basking, all day on a Saturday I don't have work. By the end of the day, the shed is further along.
