I have a green iguana that is a little under a year and has broken one of his legs befor(don't know how) and I think has managed to do it again or atleast dislocate it! What can I do until I get an appointment with a vet? His leg just kinda dangles when nothing is touching it but he stil uses it just not as much. The leg is puffy and when touched it is hard/swollen. I feel so bad for GUS because he has lost toe nails, his tail, and broke 1 leg befor. Befor you think I'm neglecting him, I don't not one bit I watch him and look over him 5 times a day to see if anything has changed and if anything looks strange, I start reading to find if it is normal or if something happend. I just replaced his chicken wire with plexiglass and since hasn't lost any toenails but befor he had lost a little under 1/2 of them and now when I go in his cage or when startled he runs frantically and doesn't have any claws to keep him on the log so he is constantly falling off his log. That is all for now.
