: i have my young iguana in with some harmless cricket eating specimens, and i noticed the last time i threw crickets in, he went after them with a passion. is it ok for him to be eating them?
: thank you
while he is young i would let him eat crickets
every once in a while..about once a week..
i have fed them to my iguanas when they were young
and all it just made them grow faster....
i say go for it..alot of people say that they do not
need protien and no they dont..but it will not hurt them unless it is fed in excess
in the wild they take alot of varied insects in there diet.
as long as you see to it that he eats his greens well
a few crix every so often is not going to hurt anything..
