Flood lamps broadcast an even distribution of light and heat.
Spot-focus blubs generate 4 times the UV light of floodsm but in a small circular area with no UV elsewhere
100 Watt Flood 6 inches
160 Watt Flood 18 inches
275 Watt Flood 24 inches
100 Watt Spot 18+inches
160 watt Spot 36+inches
Then PowerSun states for theirs that it should be a minimum of 12 inches away from the animals
We use 100 watt and 160 watt watt Floods, all are 12-24 inches away from the animals depending to the temperature we want their basking spot at.
