I disagree. Adoptees are often more tame than pet store igs that have had no human interaction. Rescuers or other people have worked with them. Once in awhile you may get one that is really freaked out, but that one may have never been tamed in the first place. Also, if no one ever bought a pet store ig again, it would make a huge difference...they would stop selling them! No money = no profit = no point! I realize we will probably never get everyone to stop buying unfortunately, but you can keep one less iguana from filling the place of the one you buy from a pet store.
I've rescued and I've bought...love them all... but there is something more special about rescuing.
