I know that hibiscus is good for Igs, and that they usually like it, but I was wondering: where do you all get it? I gather that it is popular in landscaping, but do any of you just grow one to feed to your igs? What environment does it need? I am in Oregon, so it rarely freezes and barely ever touches 100, with an avg anual temp probably about 55. Is this a plant I can get at a nursery and grow for this purpose? I am sorry that I must profess my botanical ignorance - I am more into houseplants. How fast does it grow, etc?
Also, rather than buying Dandelion leaves at the organic food stores, do any of you purposely grow your own?
Just a few questions... Always trying to diversify Zilla and Folgers' diets.
