When I got my Rex, she(i think she) was being fed crickets!!! I had to take her, and she was all alone, staying away from all the other igs. I just had to get her.
Since Goliath's passing, i've decided to adopt an ig...I think of it as helping an iguana that has never been loved, and showing it that life can be better than what it experienced before. and making the last few years of its life great (hopefully),and show it how happy it can really be.
