A few months ago i posted that i was looking to adopt Jade out to a good home. I did put him up on the greenigsociety.org website but got no emails. Finally i put him in the classifieds for adoptions and got over 50 calls (i'm still getting them) i did adopt him out on friday, to a woman i'm very comfortable with keeping him. She's feeding him tons of greens veggies adn some fruit and he's a free roamer now. She's giving him the love i wasn't totally able to give.
What i was really posting to write about tho was the fact that i've had so many calls for people wanting it for their children! I turned down some people who wanted it for kids. I have, however persuaded 2 woman to look into other types of smaller more non aggressive type reptiles like a bearded dragon. It's amazing how many people are willing to listen to you when you tell them it can get up to 7 ft and live 20 years. Most people never even knew that...the ignorance is crazy.
Still miss em tho, the woman did invite me out to her house whenever i wanted to visit him though! Yay!
