"Together? Im sorry ive kept my mouth shut for so long but ill tell you what. Your practices and advise are WAY beyond questionable. You have 5 iguanas yet up until recently housed your males together despite peole telling you they could kill each other"

Thats true.I used to cage them together when they were babies but when they grew up and started to fight i separated them.Any of them were badly injured, only TREX lost 2 spikes but they are growing again.

" the, you give basica advice like bird cages and such for people in climiates that are NOTHING like the iguana needs"

Yes, i did that but i always said that i live in a tropical country and thats why my iguanas cages are open

" o, you bed them on PINE thats KNOWN TOXIC even though its on a pan UNDER them its still toxic, you dont listen to advice half the time unless its what you want to hear."

I dont believe the pine i use is toxic.I dont use it under heat lamps and my cages are in open air. My igs cannot eat the shavings because of the bars.

Your NO ONE to despense medical advice and ive seen you post it over and over again,

Of course not! I even invited 3 different vets to come to my house to check my reptiles! In case of necessity i always take my reptiles to a good vet. When my STAR had an eye infection i take her to a very good vet and he prescribed Garamicyn.

" always sorry but HAVING 5 iguanas to me means NOTHING!!"

Well, i suppose the fact that i have 5 igs and im able to keep them healthy and happy and fat means that i know something about igs. My older ig is already 6/7 years old. Besides the 5 igs, i have 2 Skinks, 6 hamsters, 6 turtles, 1 Star tortoise. All of them very healthy, eating like pigs. Im following the advices my vets gave me about their respectives husbandries.

"Have you brought ANY of them back from the brink of death?"

No, the igs that i have now never became sick. But i fought for weeks to save my STAR tortoise when she became very sick (i didnt sleep at all during at least one week because of her)and im raising right now a tiny baby hamster that i saved from his murderer mother. His eyes are still closed, but he is doing great! I use to save turtles from food markets and restaurants too.I have in my balcony 5 pignoseds i rescued with fungus from very a very bad petshop and a softshell i rescued from a Food Fair. During all my life i have saved or tried to save sick animals i took from the streets. Ive already saved babies pigeon, babies bird, babies bat, babies dog, even a baby owl some boys were trying to kill just in front of my apartment. Owls make great pets.

"Have you treated any of them for mites, parasites, MBD, Broken and missing limbs? INfections? Have you devoted hours and hours and hours , Days, and Months, and even YEARS of your life to rehibiltating and rescuing iguanas?"

Iguanas no, because as i said before my igs never became sick but others animals YES,oh yes!Years and years. My whole life!!And I have a big admiration for people that do that.Thats why i have a great admiration for Jiffypop, Stardust, Cindy and other people that devote their lives to help sick and neglected reptiles.

"EVEN APPROVED vets can be WRONG, theres no test to be listed pay a fee and they are, as a matter of fact a vet that treated MY IGUANA thats ON THE LIST wouldnt even do blood tests until I threw a fit, WHY "because shes in the SUMMER BLAHS" NOW mind you her levels were way off after I faxed them to a specailiest EVEN THOUGH THIS GUY WAS ON THE LIST he still knew NOTHING he was doing when it comes to Iguanas,"

Thats true. Some vets are terrible!!A vet killed one of my female dogs just in front of my 8 years old son. He gave her an extra strong dose of medicine!! How is your iguana doing? I really hope he is OK now.

"Also last time I checked you can invite a vet to come to yourhome till your BLUE in the face and there not going to do it, why do THEY care if your set ups fine? You pay them when you come to there office not the other way around."

I dont understand what you are saying. You mean the vets came to my house for free? No, here where i live if you invite a vet to go to your house you pay double!

"Im just tired of your could careless type of attidue you have and do give."

Perhaps you think im careless because maybe its difficult for you to understand that i live in a very hot country where the temp is almost never below 90F and the level of humidity is never below 85%.So i can keep my igs in my balcony, in open cages and i dont have to worry about artificial lights and heating. But im not careless. I ve never been careless with any of my pets. I measure and weigh my igs every 15 days, i bath them very often, i cut their nails and i try to keep them tame. I prepare great salads , i go to the grocery store 3 or 4 times a week because i want them to eat fresh greens. They are very healthy and they are doing fine.

But i perfectly understand and i really admire the efforts you and other good people are doing to save neglected and sick iguanas. As i said a lot of times before people like you deserve a medal! It is not easy to raise iguanas in a cold weather country, it requires a lot of work and dedication, indeed!
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
::Are you a vet??Because if you arent you should not criticize my husbandry...You know why?Because IVE ALREADY INVITED THREE VETS TO COME TO MY HOUSE to check my husbandry, my turtles, tortoise and iguanas and the least they said about my husbandry was "Fantastic!".And the proof that i treat my iguanas and turtles pretty well is that all my igs (I have 5!!) are pretty healthy and my turtles and tortoise too!So if you have something to say against my husbandry you should say that to my vets too.One of them happens to be the responsible for the Veterinarian Services of the Malaysian Zoo.Do you want his adress? So if you dont like my husbandries methods im very sorry but id rather belive in my vets opinion. Thanks anyway!!
