It's a good thing Koda found you! It's awful the sorts of things people will do (or not do - like feed) to the animals they are supposed to be caring for. And I'd bet you anything that if it were a furry animal instead of a scaly one, this woman would at least have given it some very basic care, instead of allowing it get into such bad shape. Grrr... :-/

:This is Koda..I rescued him from a girl that absolutely hated him..When he came to our house he was in very bad shape. I put him in a transport box for the ride home...He could not even move. The girl told me she had not touched him in over a month since her husband left...I almost cried. He immediately went to the vet. The prognosis was not good..They only gave Koda a 15% chance of survival. I chose not to put him down...We used IV's to hydrate him and tube fed him for the first six weeks...After that we were able to force solid foods down him...It was 4 months before he started to gingerly take food on his own...Today Koda is healthy and foul tempered. Rightly so...I thank the lord for his survival. I look forward to him being part of our family for years to come...Here is a pic...I will try and find a pic of him when we first got him...I will let everyone know....
