Things I learned today.

Well, I am just getting home from a big reptile education event. I really enjoy doing these shows as a general rule, but the general public can be truely annoying.

These are all things I learned from patrons.

All lizards have a poisonous substance on their skin that will kill children if they touch them.

Iguanas have opposable thumbs.

Pancake Torts are called such because they eat pancakes.

All turtles breath thru their butts and if they get a cold thats when they have diareha(sp)

Turtles and Torts are related to snails. They shed their full shell and get new ones as they grow.

Long exhausting day, i am now going to sleep.
