You can go to the vet and have him/her sexed, although I'm pretty sure this must be unpleasant for them. The way I found out Bud (WAS going to be "Rosebud", ie, pretty, but has thorns!)was a he was by watching him poop in his water dish. On the final "push", he everted his hemipenes (ig version of testes) from his body, then drew them back in. They looked like two little pink appendages. I think that's probably the least intrusive way to tell, although definately not the most pleasant. :)
My vet also though Bud was a she at first, because the femoral pores were not enlarged. But then again, it was not breeding season. Also, with malnourished rescues like mine, there is the problem of stunted growth. Bud is not as big as a male should be for what we think his age is, and maybe yours is the same way.
But as I say, get to a vet if you are worried. Female igs with MBD in their past may have difficulties laying eggs, with complications that can lead to death. :(
