That's what we've used with the lid taped shut and air holes....and newspapers as padding. (Blanket probably would be more comfy however)
I like the idea of a dog carrier, but I also think the ig does better when in the dark and doesn't have to think about what they are seeing.
Which leads me to a story....we took Lightning in to get her stitches taken out in a closed box. She was very quiet for a while in the waiting room but then her nose must have picked up the scent of a doctor's office! LOL I'm holding the box and all of a sudden it jumps about 2 feet off of my lap...thank goodness I was holding tight! She was bouncing that box all over the place and people were STARING at us but afraid to ask I suppose.....LMAO Finally a small child had the guts to come over and ask "what is IN that box, lady?" When we got her in the exam rm. the vet carefully opened the lid.....Lightning literally took a FLYING leap out of it landing right on Daddy's chest LOL (Would have been a good X-file I think)
