I have heard that most lizards have salmonella. I have 3 iggies and 9 beardies. I dont know about anyone else but my igs usually go in the tub. I use a water and bleach mixture in a spray bottle that I disinfect the tub with. It works really well for me. I do let me lizards free roam, some more than others and not all the time, well, except Anna,one of my igs. I just keep a clean house. My kids always wash their hands and I have not had any problems so far and have not heard of any from friends that have igs either :) I do not "make out" with my igs and dont promote kissing them, but I do. I give them baths daily, sometimes more than once a day.
Just use common sense and clean.
