It took me and another friend a very long time to convince her to get uv. Then she had it opposite from the basking site. It took us probably a year to convince her to build the new cage. I tried to convince her that the one she already had would be territorial and angry about having the new one in the cage. I also tried to get her to take the older one to the vet first hoping that her parents would get angry with the bill and refuse to buy another. These poor babies have terrible diets, I don't think they'll ever see anything like mustard or collard greens. I think the best thing she's fed the bigger one is repcal ig food. It's better then lettuce, but still not good. I think that when she puts them together, the older one who has been alone may try to mate the little one, which she thinks is a female. In beardies, which is what i've got, this would be extremely dangerous. That little female may not be able to pass eggs.
