Sometimes a gentle scrubbing with a soft toothbrush can help.
Some even do it using Nivea or similar lotions, but the debate is reptile skin does not absorb like human skin, so it may be useless to use it...but hey, might as well try it right?
Use lukewarm water of course. See vet, maybe he/she can remove the dead skin w/o causing injury. The tail tip is the most annoying part to shed.
