Scream at HER! The only thing I can see bein done here is you or someone else taking the Igs away. If She wants to be a Moron, that's her choice. But You can give her this site, Show her some pics off of here of LARGE Males (some impressive pics might do well to make her give up the babies) and tell her a little bit about breeding season and how much damage they can do. I'm sure some people here would post pics of their war wounds for you to print and show to her. Inform Her that two 6 foot Igs are NOT going to fit in a 3 foot cage. And Ig they DON'T go to the Vet, They will Die! Push Her as hard as you can to make her give them up. Don't let those babies suffer....
:I have a friend, and yes, I'm very good friends with her, but she's an IDIOT. She had one iggy who suffers from mouth rot, most likely MBD, and numerous other things. It didn't have UV for two years because she never got around to purchasing a new light, and it lived in a 15 gallon tank until our other friends forced her into building him a bigger cage. She also feeds pizza and fries to the other one.
:Now she just went out an bought ANOTHER ig and wants to put them together. She is going to quarantine it in the 15 gallon for a month, but the other ig has been an only ig for all of its life. It will probably get very territorial (it's about 4-5 years old). Not to mention that the cage is only 3x4x5.... It can't FIT two iguanas, right?
:Now, I have a Bearded Dragon, but I know enough about igs to know that this is a VERY BAD IDEA, right? Am I missing something here? ARGH!
:They both need to go to the vet desperately, and her parents won't be up for paying for the bill that the older one rung up, so she won't take them.
