:About him hurting his mouth during the attack - I think I read somewhere that fighting iguanas cut up their gums on the sharp scales of the opponent? Just a guess, maybe that's what happened to your male? Makes sense to me, though my boy Kaaz managed to bite through his own lip, while attacking a mirror.

:I also wonder if you could medicate him by handfeeding him a treat, and quickly squirting in medication when he opens his mouth to take it. Are igs smart enough to remember this trick, and keep their mouths closed, or will they enjoy the treat enough to ignore the medicine? I really have no idea, the only time I had to medicate mine I had to give him shots...
