4 of my 5 igs have 100% complete tail! The only one that doesnt have dropped half his tail when he was 1 year old, and my teen ager son was chasing him around the house!
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
:have him checked out.
:The tip of the tail is the most common break point since it is rather weak. I have seen only a handful of iguanas with 100% pure perfect tails up to the tip. Shedding problems can cause the tail's skin to be so tight to actually break it off. Or he may have whipped at something and broken the tip of it.
:As with any injuries, even minor ones, disinfect it and have him checked out. He's such a pretty little iglet, it would be a shame for him to have problems of this kind.
:Let us know what the vet says.
