I agree with you completely!! Thanks to all the help and advice on here, Tempest has calmed down hugely. He rarely tail whips any more, and never threatens to bite. He's become very handleable and is much easier to take out of his cage. He's gained tons of weight and looks great, except for the non-stop shedding!
:A couple months back i asked about taming my iguana. By a lot of trial and error, I have seen much success. I have used some of the methods that you guys gave me. I decided to reward his coming out every day by letting him bask under a light on my bed and eat fruit that he never is given inside his cage. He seems to really enjoy this. Also, opening his door and letting him walk out when he chooses has helped. Several times I have come home and found him nudging the door to see if it was left open. Bathing him daily has helped to build trust as well. I just wanted to thank you all for your advice, and let you know that it made a HUGE difference. Thanks a lot!
