Ok,we checked in our iguana "bible" and it may be Black Fungus diease? Symptoms: skin turns black, dry and crusty. It can spread and cause the igs skin to rot! Ewwww....It says its highly contagious. Its says to try Neosporin and give the ig unfiltered sunlight. Keep the ig's enclosure DRY. If this is what he has, he'll need to shed the fungus off. It goes on to say it can take up to 2 to 3 sheds to get rid of it. If you try this (treatment) and it doesn't help, run, don't walk to to vet. Good luck.
