I'm still waiting for healthy captive bred ball pythons (and there are multigeneration balls) to replace WC ones at pet stores. But they're not. Why? Who wants to pay 100$ for some snake when you can get one that looks just as much like a snake for 40$? Bottom line- people buying unhealthy reps from pet stores are probably unwilling to pay more for a healthy one. And it's gonna be a long time before healthy CB iguanas wholesale for 2.50$! Hate to be bleak, but that's how I see it.
