What XTA said is another great point... a lot of people see a big green dragon, and they say "COOL! I want one!" not truely knowing what they're getting into. Most of them don't have the love for the species that we do, even if they seem like it at first. The sad truth is, even a lot of people who DO love them and DO research proper husbandry beforehand end up putting their igs up for adoption. I know I've read a few threads along those lines on this board even.
