I can take Lord Kenya (my almost one year old ig, that i thought was a female but the vet said is a male)everywhere without problems!Even to large malls, Mc Donalds, informal restaurants, car trips, and he doesnt try to espape.Only rests on my lap or hung in my blouse while im in a queue!Eveybody comes closer and asks where i bought him, for how much, etc...Thats funny because everybody here knows that Kenya is an iguana and what are his diet and cage requirements and lots of people know someone that keeps an iguana too. What they admire is how tame an iguana can become.

I know that i should not say that here, probably ill be bombed lol, but igs are changing!I went to the most important petshop in town, that traditionally sells captive bred iguanas and i was amazed how tame those iglets are becoming!I put my hands inside their tank and they run into my hands, climbing and trying to get into them!!They love people!

To people that dont know me, i live in a tropical country what means the climate here is very friendly to iguanas so its very easy to captive bred them. And what means too that if a person dumps its iguana in the local forests the animal has a great chance to happily survive what doesnt happen in the USA!

:In the Summer, I take Smirnoff out to street fairs, flea markets, etc. Even just around My Neighborhood. And I can honestly tell you that He has Disspelled myths and Fears from observers and also saved a few Igs from poor husbandtry. He seems to LOVE the attention too... ;) So I was wondering if anyone else did this with their Igs, or any of their critters? Just curious. :)
