Try finding rescues in or around your state then if there is such a "demand" for iguanas in your area.
There wouldn't be an issue with destroying eggs if the igs weren't allowed to mate in the first place. As far as equating abortion to reptiles try looking up the definition of "anthropomorphism".
I'm glad to hear that the igs are in appropriate enclosures now. Scrolling through the pic link provided earlier there was a pic of an ig in a plastic container which is why it was mentioned.
