Lizzy had surgery on Thursday Feb.14th. She is due back at vet on Mar. 6th for chek up and possibly some stitches removed.
How long before all the stitches are taken out? Did your female eat right away and if so how much, like normal or less?
After this visit the next will be 21 days later.
Lizzy eating but not an awful lot yet. Giving her a huge variety, changing greens each day to tempt her more.
She is somewaht active, were any females on this board less or more active after?
She is currently on an antibiotic for 21 days, we are into the second week of that. She gets this once a day and I give to her in the evening.
Vet told me no baths or soaking at this time either.
Hope someone has been here to and can answer questions for me.
Of course I will pose all this wiht her vet to. She is acting very well considering what she went through.
