First of all, the eggs, in my opinion, the right way would be to freeze them and then discard them. Second of all, are those pine shavings in the cage? I do believe pine shavings pose not only an impaction hazard being a particulate substrate, but also poisonous to igs. And third, does the cord leading down to the floor of the cage go to a heat rock? They burn igs because they can short out. Please get Iguanas for Dummies by Melissa Kaplan or The Ultimate Iguana manual by James Hatfield. Read one of these from cover to cover. Lots of great info about our green companions. Good luck. Lyn
:My male was going crazy in his cage, so we figured to put him with the female thinking it would calm him down and this is what happened.....:) they both seem happy right now and hopefully they will get alon for a bit to finish there business... lol How long does it take till she would lay eggs? how long until eggs hatch? should i incubate or leave the eggs with teh female? sorry for all the ?'s but we are new to this and want to do it all right....
:thanks in advance for all the comments and helps. btw is there a good site about breeding and husbandry... thanks
