The little black dots that my Sneakers developed on her head came about after a shed. This seems to be her new coloring. In Sneakers case it turned out to be nothing. One thing I was told to check for was mites. Look really closely to see if those little black spots have legs. I used a magnafing glass on Sneakers, received a few tail whips for that one. But at least I knew that the black dots didn't have legs. I don't know anything about fungus. I think that the people here that know more will want to know if the black spots are confined to one scale or cover several. Also when you run your finger over them, are they raised or flush with the skin. When was the last time your iggy shed? What type of enclosure is he/she in? What type of lighting are you using? What is the normal temp of the enclosure? You might be asked about the diet?
