I have 5 igs (yes, everybody here knows that!!LOL!) and my youngest one is very tame.Perhaps its because he is captive bred or because he was born thinking he was a cat and until now he didnt realize he is an ig!Anyway, he is so tame that i can even take him to Macdonalds, to shops, to informal restaurants without problems! He keeps stuck in my blouse while im shopping or sleeps in my lap while im eating! Well, im telling all this story only to say that he drinks water in front of me without problems.Yes!!Sometimes when he is in his cage and im observng him he just lifts his small green head into the bowl of water and drinks.Just like a dog or a cat will do!

e :i offer fresh water to my iggies everyday, but from watching them, they don't drink much or any. i was wondering, if with their leafy green salads, could i add some lettuce for water? i know it has no nutritional value, and is nothing but water. would it be ok to add some to their food once or twice a week?
