im going to say what i did with godzilla, a few years ago, when i moved from jakarta to kuala lumpur, ok?(im writing with small letters because kenya is in my left right so i have only one hand left to write!)
well, i bought a large dogs cage, i put him inside, with no food or water, anything but newspapers to make him more comfortable, i took him to the airport i give him with my bags to the girl that took my tickets, she weighed him +
the cage, i paid the amount as extra charge (3 usd by kilo), he went to the cargo compartment with my bags. The cargo compartment is kept warm because of all the animals that travel with their owners. When i arrived in kuala lumpur i should be able to take him with my bags at the baggage reclaim, but i had a problem. The staff of the airport took him and his cage to the quarantine area thinking it was a dog! When we discovered that, we went to the quarantine area, scolded the guy that did that and we took godzilla back.thats all!So i recommend you to write in big letters "thats an iguana" in the cage with your name and address!
At the airport, probably a lot of people will look inside your ig's cage and when they realize its an iguana not a dog or a cat they will say:"ooohhhooo, look at that!!!" and the small boys will say:"mom, is this a dinosaur?"
