:But it's getting to the point where he's worn a couple of nails down enough so that I'm afraid they might start to bleed (honestly, you'd think he would know better than to do that to himself. grr). He's also managed to pop part of a scale off the top of nose; I came home one day and his snout was a bloody mess. This is all a mystery to me, as there aren't any abrasive surfaces in his enclosure and he hasn't been out prowling the rest of my apartment because he's too busy trying to scratch his way out of our (2nd story) window! Any suggestions? He's not too receptive to attention right now, so I'm not quite sure how to 'wean' him from this habit. Thanks,
:-Lily
