:I got this iguana from a friends kid who wasnt taking good care of it and could no longer handle the animal. I new it wouldnt be easy but i took it in anyway in hopes that i could better its living conditions and bond with the animal. Ive had it for about 1 month now and i am sick and tired of this damn animal! I feed it all the things it needs, keep his enclosure hot enough, and I spend money on it more than i do on myself! Ive bought Heat pads, Heat lamps, Ceramic lamps, Veggies, enclosure! I try to spend about 30min a day or so tamming this animal. It doesn't happen! he bites, scratches and whips! I dont see whats the joy in having an animal that requires so much yet gives so little. And as i read all these stories of IGS that reach breeding season and become even more violent I dont see why i should put up with its crap!!! I am going to try to find someone who will take him in, i honestly cannot deal with it! I have other pets that require lots of attention as well but theyre much more rewarding!!!
