: I saw this portable dog pen at wal-mart, and I
was wondering if it might make a good daytime
outdoor enclosure for Cleo...it was made out of
chain linck fence, so I was wondering if she could
crawl thru the holes...it was quite large, and
higher than my head...it was portable, so I could
make sure it was always in the sun, and I would
never go off and leave her in it or anything (to
much of a worrier!)It even had a little gate to
get in & out, and it was under 200 $...so, what
d'ya think?? the only think I'm wondering is if
she could get out the holes...I'd be sure to give
her some big branches to crawl in and stuff, maybe
make her a shelf or two to rest on...My husband
Kevin said we could even put our Guinea pigs in
the bottom, to eat the grass, while Cleo hung out
a little higher up! I just want to make use of all
the free sunshine that I'm sure will be coming our
way, any day now!!
: PS: are we still chatting here tomorrow night?
: Thanks!! Lorry & Cleo (The slightly freaked out
cuz the kids are home all week for spring break
Queen of the Sunroom)(we had 12 kids here today!!,
mostly outside thank God!!)

Harry's Dad had a point about snakes,,wish I'd have got a pic,,a black snake sunning as he was woven thru an eight ft high chain link fence. It was neat to watch him move thru the fence as the sun moved.Weve never had problems with our ig and snakes,,,but a big black garden snake did go after Jabba one time,,,scared me to death but I was faster then the snake.(that's a hard pic to take)
Another thing to watch for,(don't know where yu live)is ants.Nothing will keep them out but keep an eyeout for those buggers.
