If His Head can fit through, So can His body. No Doubt about that... and High Temps and Humidity are what you want....
:Ok , today the weather here final got nicer and therefore gave a chance to bring my 1st iguana home. Was excited like a little school boy hehehe. Anyhow, got it home, put it in it’s new cage, put a water bowl in there , fresh food that I just cut up locked the cage and left to finish making the rest of the food. My son about hour later goes to see him I guess and tells me that the cage is empty. My heart just dropped down in to my socks but then I though, he just might be in his hiding spot. I run downstairs and sure enough, he is gone. My son claims that he never opened the cage door at all.
:So now I’m searching for it. My wife is helping me out. She told me before I got it that it will take her time to get used to it. So we are looking for him she tells me “I hope I’m not the one to find him” hehe. Well not even 30 seconds later after she tells me that I hear her screech hehe . I guess you know who found him.
:This brings me to this question. I was planning on making the door using a Plexiglas but changed it to hardware cloth cause the room he is in is hot all the time so the temperature issued wasn’t a problem. Could he got through the hardware cloth? The openings are ¾ “ x ¾”. The head is small enough to fit through it but the body isn’t.
