with male iguanas in season fixating on their female owner or caregiver as a potential mate. I've also seen and heard of several other instances of the same type of behavior. It's nothing to take lightly and can be dangerous if you're not aware of the situation at all times. I've only heard of one instance where a male was interested in a male human keeper. This poor man eventually surrendered the iguana to a rescue because he couldn't handle being stalked and chased.
