Lizzy being spayed on Thurday, cannot lay her eggs this time

Went to vet 3 weeks ago and vet was a little concerned. Took Lizzy back Friday and no eggs so surgery is scheduled for this comning Thursday.
First year she laid no problems, last year she finally laid but took longer and she stayed at vet during this tme.
Now nothing. I really did not want this to happen but unless she lays before then surgery will be done.
Anyone else her had a female spayed?
